About Buddha Barn
Opened in June 2021 the Buddha Barn is a beautifully converted barn in the centre of Messingham, Scunthorpe. Available for hire it is a great space to hold meetings, small events, wellbeing sessions, weddings and much more!
The Barn
The Barn can be used for a whole range of events and with a maximum seated capacity of 30 and a standing capacity of 40. The barn is 7.2m by 3.9 m and has a ceiling height of 3.4m at its lowest point. We can also set the room up in boardroom style with space for up to 12 people. There is Free WiFi and electric heating throughout. If you have a specific use for the barn or are unsure please contact us. Please note we are unable to hold birthday parties or any event with a higher level of noise due to our proximity to local houses.
The Courtyard
The courtyard is fitted out with tables and chairs and makes a great outdoor space in summer or winter. Great for some downtime away from the main space.
The Kitchen
A small kitchenette is situated in the Foyer of the barn. The kitchen has a sink, tea and coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Tea, Coffee and some small treats are offered on an honesty box basis for anyone visiting the barn.
The Bathroom & Foyer
The Foyer is the smaller space within the barn. Whilst not for holding events it's a great small space which houses our Kitchen and Bathroom. Maintaining a high quality throughout is right at the heart of the Buddha Barn and extends all the way through to our Bathroom!
